The Banking Center Manager leads a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional client experiences and driving strong financial results. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the banking center, including sales growth, client satisfaction, operational excellence, and team development.

The Banking Center Manager builds and develops talent, creating an environment where team members are engaged, accountable, and equipped to meet client needs through a consultative, relationship-based approach. This leader actively coaches performance, reinforces expectations, and drives consistent execution of sales and service strategies.

In partnership with Market leadership and operational risk partners, the Banking Center Manager ensures the banking center operates in alignment with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on client experience and business growth.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $60,000/yr - $121,300/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities

Banking Center Performance

  • Own overall banking center performance, including achieving loan, deposit, and referral goals; monitor metrics and drive actions to improve results and sustain growth.
  • Partner with Market leadership to align on goals, strategies, and opportunities.
  • Contribute directly to results through personal production and client engagement.
  • Build community presence and partnerships to drive business development and enhance the bank’s reputation.
  • Collaborate across the market to connect clients to the full range of Old National capabilities.

Client Experience & Relationship Growth

  • Lead a client-centric culture focused on understanding needs, providing advice, and delivering personalized financial solutions.
  • Drive growth in consumer and business relationships through proactive outreach, referrals, and consistent execution of the sales process.
  • Ensure effective use of cross-selling, partner referrals, and digital solutions to deepen relationships.
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve issues, strengthen relationships, and reinforce trust.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build and develop a high-performing team focused on client experience, growth, and operational excellence.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to strengthen performance and consultative sales capabilities.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor progress, and hold team members accountable for results and behaviors.
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent, building a strong pipeline for future roles.

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Ensure consistent execution of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, reinforcing accountability for accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with the Market Service Leader to maintain strong operational discipline, controls, and audit readiness.
  • Balance the client experience with strong risk management to protect clients and the bank.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in banking, retail, or a client-facing environment, including exposure to sales, lending, and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, or influence others to achieve performance goals, preferably within a team-based or multi-functional environment.
  • Understanding of consumer lending, sales processes, and client relationship management practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining client and team focus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required.
  • NMLS registered or eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
