Responsibilities: The Deputy Program Manager supports the overall execution of Information Security Program Support Services task order, assisting the Program Manager with contract performance, resource coordination, project governance, risk tracking, stakeholder communication, and delivery oversight. This role helps ensure cybersecurity operations, RMF support, incident response, vulnerability management, architecture support, reporting, and policy activities remain aligned with cost, schedule, scope, quality, and mission objectives.
โ€ข Support day-to-day program execution across all cybersecurity task areas.
โ€ข Assist with management controls, schedule tracking, dependency management, risk and issue tracking, and resource coordination.
โ€ข Support recurring program status meetings, Quarterly Program Reviews, stakeholder briefings, and executive reporting.
โ€ข Coordinate across technical, governance, and operational teams including ISSOs, system owners, security engineers, vulnerability analysts, incident responders, and program leadership.
โ€ข Support development and maintenance of the Task Order Management Plan, Program Management Plan, Integrated Master Schedule, risk register, meeting minutes, action item logs, lessons learned, SOPs, dashboards, and recurring status reports.
โ€ข Monitor deliverable quality, timeliness, completeness, and alignment with federal cybersecurity requirements.
โ€ข Help identify performance variances, emerging risks, and recommended mitigation strategies. Requirements: โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent.
โ€ข Experience managing or supporting complex federal cybersecurity, information security, or IT program operations.
โ€ข Demonstrated knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, cybersecurity reporting, vulnerability management, incident response, and security governance.
โ€ข Experience working with Government CORs, technical stakeholders, and program leadership.
โ€ข Ability to coordinate multiple project workstreams and maintain disciplined program visibility.
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive-level reporting.
โ€ข Must be a U.S. citizen.
โ€ข Successful drug screening.
โ€ข Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge. Preferred Qualifications: โ€ข PMP, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, CISA, Security+, or similar cybersecurity/program management certification. Location/Work Arrangement:
โ€ข Schedule is full-time, Monday โ€“ Friday 40-hour week, 4/10โ€™s, or 9/80โ€™s and may require on call or overnight shifts depending on contract needs.
