Responsibilities
Job Overview
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the network infrastructure for two casino locations in Gardena. You will also handle system administration duties to ensure high availability, security, and performance across critical systems. The role requires expertise in network management and troubleshooting in a 24/7 casino environment, ensuring that systems operate smoothly with minimal downtime.
Key Objectives
  • Maintain and optimize network infrastructure across both casino locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and high performance.
  • Lead network enhancement projects focused on improving security, system performance, and overall reliability.
  • Ensure 24/7 uptime of critical casino networks and quickly resolve any IT issues to prevent disruptions to operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Casino Network Infrastructure: Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure for two casino locations in Gardena. This includes Cisco routers and switches, SonicWall firewalls, and Meraki switches and firewalls.
  • Network Management: Monitor and maintain network devices and services to ensure secure, functional, and high-performing network environments. Configure and manage VPNs, VLANs, and other networking protocols to support casino operations.
  • System Administration: Support system administration tasks, including managing Windows servers, VMware (ESXi, vSAN), and backup systems like Veeam. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and system patching.
  • IT Security: Implement and enforce strong security protocols across both casino properties to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with PCI standards and regularly audit systems for vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues in a timely manner to maintain network and system uptime. Ensure minimal downtime and service disruptions across both locations.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Work with vendors for network upgrades, hardware support, and IT services. Evaluate and recommend new technologies for casino IT operations, including surveillance systems and access controls.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, system setups, and operational procedures across both casinos.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in network administration, ideally in high-availability environments like casinos or hospitality.
    • Strong experience with Cisco routers and switches, SonicWall firewalls, and Meraki switches and firewalls.
    • Experience managing Windows Server environments, VMware, Dell hardware, and Veeam Backup & Replication.
    • Experience with surveillance camera systems (CCTV, IPcams) or prior casino experience is a plus.
  • Certifications:
    • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is required.
