- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Extensive expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including:
- Cisco Catalyst Switches (9300, 9400, 9500, 9600 series): Deep understanding of their features, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Cisco Nexus platforms: Proven experience in data center environments.
- Strong command-line interface (CLI) skills for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting are essential.
- Routing Protocols: Expert-level knowledge of EIGRP and BGP.
- VRF-lite: Experience in extending security segments throughout the network.
- Cisco Wireless (basic support): Ability to verify trunking and basic connectivity for wireless access points (Note: This role does not involve Wireless Controller modification or RF troubleshooting).
- Proficient with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including:
- Panorama: Extensive experience in centralized management, policy deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of firewall concepts, security policies, NAT, and VPNs.
- Direct experience with IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat, for IP address and DNS management.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management platforms for ticket management.
- Proven experience working in an Agile development environment, using JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
