Candidate must have atleast 7 years of work experience
Relocation candidates will work but must relocate on their own expense.

Summary
Network Engineer, Global Campus Engineering Are you a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with 7+ years of experience looking for a challenging role in a dynamic global environment? Join our Global Campus Engineering team and play a critical part in supporting the robust network infrastructure for world-renowned brands like client and Converse. We're looking for a Tier 3 engineer who thrives on problem-solving, is adept with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, and can ensure seamless network operations across our diverse global sites, including headquarters, large offices, manufacturing, and distribution centers. This role offers significant impact and opportunities to contribute to our network's evolution, with a focus on automation initiatives.
This position reports directly to the Director, Global Campus Engineering.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Extensive expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including:
  • Cisco Catalyst Switches (9300, 9400, 9500, 9600 series): Deep understanding of their features, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Cisco Nexus platforms: Proven experience in data center environments.
  • Strong command-line interface (CLI) skills for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting are essential.
  • Routing Protocols: Expert-level knowledge of EIGRP and BGP.
  • VRF-lite: Experience in extending security segments throughout the network.
  • Cisco Wireless (basic support): Ability to verify trunking and basic connectivity for wireless access points (Note: This role does not involve Wireless Controller modification or RF troubleshooting).

  • Proficient with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including:
  • Panorama: Extensive experience in centralized management, policy deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of firewall concepts, security policies, NAT, and VPNs.
  • Direct experience with IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat, for IP address and DNS management.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management platforms for ticket management.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile development environment, using JIRA.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment supporting critical business operations.
  • Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE) are highly valued.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex network incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime across our global campus and distribution center environments.
  • Implement network configuration changes, including switchport access updates, VLAN modifications, and routing adjustments, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center to proactively identify and resolve network performance issues.
  • Manage and maintain our Palo Alto firewall infrastructure using Panorama, implementing security policies, troubleshooting connectivity, and ensuring robust network segmentation.
  • Manage IP addresses and DNS records using IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network connectivity and performance for various business applications.
  • Participate in project work within an Agile methodology, utilizing JIRA for task tracking and collaboration.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
