Job description

Network Business Development Role

This role will need to build Network Business in North America. Should drive Network Transformation Strategies, while demonstrating 'Thought Leadership' to enable new growth opportunities proactively (i.e. Demand Creation), besides supporting RFIs/RFPs on strategic engagements (i.e. Demand Capture) for customers across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Segment / Account leadership team to increase the quantity and quality of Network opportunities, and realize TCV targets
  • Provides support for all the strategic opportunities in the Demand Capture pipeline
  • Responsible for the overall quality of deliverables (proposition-related artefacts, presentations, demos etc.)
  • Provide inputs in identifying next-gen opportunities and scoping them for building a healthy pipeline
  • Partner with the Marketing Strategy and Support Teams to develop a strategic profile for a client (outside-in analysis)
  • Develop POVs & Thought leadership pitches towards proactive pipeline creation & CxO conversations

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the segment / account heads to drive business development
  • Ensure adequate balance between Demand Creation and Demand Capture opportunities, while realizing TCV targets
  • Leverage broad business and technical expertise to address Business & Technology architecture, Business Modelling, Enablement etc.
  • Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and proposals

Qualifications:

  • Must be experienced and able to demonstrate having worked effectively at C-Suite level and has delivered significant results.
  • Stakeholder engagement and management at EVP/VP/Director level
  • Effective leadership with results orientation
  • Capabilities in Networks area – Wireless, Fixed, MSO:
    • Architecture Design: Create and develop the architectural framework, roadmap for Communication Media Customers within the Fulfillment, Assurance and Network landscape with trends in the market.
    • Product Experience: Hands-on expertise with one or two of the products below and deep functional knowledge to define the product vision, roadmap for the Customer Scenario
    • Network inventory (COTS – NetCracker, Granite, Oracle, Amdocs, Ciena, ServiceNow, Rakuten)
    • Fault management (Products: IBM Netcool, HPE, Rakuten, Splunk, ScienceLogic)
    • Service provisioning
    • Configuration
    • Service assurance
    • Network planning
  • Network Technologies: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of Networks wired or wireless, IP, MPLS, SDH, Transmission or DWDM and make data-driven recommendations for improvements from Planning, Deployment and Management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and customer service, to gather requirements and align solutions with the business objectives of the customers
  • Market Research on Trends: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend enhancements and innovations like AI, GenAI, Cloud, Data etc.
  • Strong presentation skills (verbal and written)
