Job description

Primary Purpose:

Design, implement, and troubleshoot data communications systems for all locations. Provide integration and consulting services to all internal departments and systems.

You must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Network monitoring & reporting
Provide 3rd level network support & problem resolution
Provide network architecture planning, design and implementation
Interact with other corporate teams for enterprise level projects
Provide WAN/LAN communication capacity management
Maintain WAN/LAN documentation and business recovery procedures
Change management, software updates and configuration management
Evaluate & recommend networking hardware and software - data center and branch
Operate and maintain the network management platforms
Professionally interact with NOC, Operations, vendors and support teams to maintain stable network environment
Security conscious network design


Job Specifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required - college degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining critical environments
5 - 7 years networking experience similar to:
o Wide-area networking technologies, protocols, and related hardware (Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, etc.)
o High-end L2/L3 routing and switching - spine and leaf (prefer Arista or Cisco)
o SD-WAN/VPN/Basic Firewall (Prefer Fortinet)
o Data Center, Cloud, Branch and Internet connectivity - Complex BGP routing
o Extensive experience with Ethernet switching, packet analysis, and large-scale LAN and WAN deployments.
o Enterprise network management tools - PRTG, Fortinet Suite, Arista Cloud Vision, etc

Experience with network disaster recovery implementations
Strong written & verbal communications skills
Top-level performer with desire to be part of a high-functioning Engineering team
Minimal travel
Prefer daily on-site at Irondale, AL datacenter but will entertain remote for superior candidate
