Position: Network/Telecom Specialist - Expert
Location: Raleigh, NC (27604)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network/Telecom Specialist with expertise in designing and maintaining complex computer networks. The ideal candidate will lead network infrastructure projects and manage disaster recovery procedures while ensuring seamless communication across technical and non-technical groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructures and related hardware/software.
  • Install, configure, and administer network routers and switches.
  • Execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Manage daily helpdesk tickets and support tasks.
  • Collaborate on server and storage planning, including virtualization technologies.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years' experience with ServiceNow for workflow management.
  • Proven experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity execution.
  • Proficient in Backup, VMWare, Windows Active Directory, and Linux technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, patch management, and antivirus solutions.
