About the Role

The Network Engineer is responsible for configuring, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure to ensure a secure and high-performance environment. This role supports the reliable and stable operation of both factory and office network systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, as well as Cisco Meraki SD-WAN solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networks, and network security principles.
  • Ability to document network configurations, topology diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures in a clear and structured manner.
  • Willingness and ability to provide on-call support for critical network outages during evenings and weekends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid technical depth and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure business continuity and drive operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, stay current with emerging networking technologies, and continuously enhance technical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in network design, operations, and maintenance within a manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is preferred.
  • ERP, WMS, OA, MES and other system operation and maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and robust security.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot core network infrastructure including firewalls, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, IPS/IDS, VPN solutions, and network segmentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, performing detailed root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Plan and execute network changes with precision, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless user impact.
  • Maintain all network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and UPS systems.
  • Participate in network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives to support business growth.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and performance optimization to ensure network efficiency and reliability.
  • Design and support scalable, resilient network solutions aligned with performance, security, and operational requirements, leveraging deep expertise in networking technologies and protocols such as OSPF, VXLAN, QoS, multicast, STP, and SD-WAN.
  • Monitor network availability, performance metrics, and generate operational reports to ensure service stability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct daily operations, maintenance, and routine inspections of the company's server room, servers, monitoring systems, and other hardware, ensuring the normal operation of the company's systems and network.
  • Solve various problems and technical support of the company's computer related to network.
  • Support factory MES system daily operation, maintenance and data backup.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure network infrastructure adheres to industry security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001), including system hardening, and secure remote access design.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain security policies and profiles, including web filtering, application control, antivirus protection, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), and SSL inspection.
  • Support compliance initiatives by contributing to secure network architecture design, documentation, and implementation of required security controls.
