Job description

Job Summary:
Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial co-operative serving public and private school employees. They are seeking a Network Administrator to provide technical assistance and operate the computer and telecommunications networks, supporting approximately 120 users across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
• addressing data and/or telecommunication issues from users and appropriately communicating the resolution
• researching the feasibility of technology related projects, enhancements and proposals
• evaluating, testing and recommending upgrades and/or enhancements to PC’s
• maintaining the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records
• actively participating in disaster recovery and system security
• training staff on network applications
• installation, configuration and maintenance of data, telecommunications equipment and PC’s
Preferred:
• Bachelor degree in MIS, CS or similar field
• Financial institution experience
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
