Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience working with network systems, security, servers, and end-user support, with the ability to resolve technical issues and keep network operations reliable and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and equipment
  • Monitor network performance, connectivity, and system availability
  • Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPNs
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and network access
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and inventory records
  • Monitor network security and assist with identifying and resolving security issues
  • Perform system updates, patches, backups, and routine maintenance
  • Assist with server, cloud, and infrastructure administration as needed
  • Respond to help desk escalations involving network and connectivity issues
  • Work with vendors and service providers to resolve technical problems
  • Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and technology projects
  • Maintain compliance with company IT policies and security standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to employees when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 6-10 years of experience in network and systems administration, including physical servers, cloud environments, firewalls, Microsoft Outlook, and VMware., etc.
  • Must have MSCE Certification to be considered
  • Previous experience as a Network Administrator, Network Technician, Systems Administrator, or similar IT role
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and network routing
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or other server operating systems preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and user account administration preferred
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Ability to document technical information accurately
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA certifications are a plus
