About the Role:
Select Minds LLC is looking for a talented Network Security Engineer to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to protect critical infrastructure, design robust security solutions, and work alongside a team of passionate technology professionals. Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain network security architectures, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents and threats in real time
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis across network infrastructure
  • Configure and manage VPNs, access control lists (ACLs), and zero-trust network policies
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response procedures
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and compliance requirements (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or a related cybersecurity role
