The Network Engineer supports enterprise and store network technologies across Bath & Body Works’ retail environment, owning day-to-day operations and driving incident resolution through root-cause analysis. This role supports network changes and store initiatives in partnership with vendors and multi-functional teams, and assists Senior Engineers and Tech Leads on projects while contributing to documentation and standards.

Responsibilities:Operational Support & Incident Management
  • Provide 2nd-level support for store and enterprise network incidents; troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Monitor network health, triage alerts, tune thresholds, and use trends/logs/packet captures to improve detection and reduce repeat incidents.
  • Own tickets and requests end-to-end (prioritization, stakeholder updates, and coordinated escalation to senior engineers/vendors) to meet SLAs.
  • Participate in on-call rotation (2 weeks on 5 weeks off, 24x7 coverage).
Project & Implementation Support
  • Implement and support LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi for new store openings, remodels, and upgrades, including change planning, validation, and post-cutover support.
  • Support site readiness and provisioning activities (broadband/circuits, IP assignments, SIM activations) with vendors and general contractors.
  • Maintain network documentation and monitoring (inventory/onboarding, standards, and operational procedures) using tools such as SolarWinds and ServiceNow.
Request Management
  • Fulfill network requests (monitoring setup, configuration changes, and standard implementations) and meet SLA targets.
Vendor Coordination
  • Manage vendor/carrier tickets and circuit installs, driving troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution while tracking performance.
Continuous Improvement & Learning
  • Participate in team/vendor meetings and drive continuous improvement through process refinement and automation.
  • Mentor and support junior team members; share knowledge through documentation, walkthroughs, and peer reviews.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of related experience in network operations, implementation, or IT infrastructure support.
  • Cisco CCNA certification preferred; equivalent vendor certifications or demonstrated proficiency considered.
  • Solid understanding of WAN/LAN technologies, routing/switching fundamentals, and wireless networking; able to solve using logs, packet captures, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with network monitoring/ITSM and documentation tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Visio, MS Office).
  • Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and within a team while managing competing priorities.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field; or equivalent combination or relevant education and experience.
