Job Title: Network Engagement Lead
Location: Remote
Reports to: VP External Relations

Summary:
The Network Engagement Lead proactively executes CAF America’s partnerships and events strategy, bringing CAF America’s mission and work to the international philanthropic landscape. Working within the External Relations team, and coordinating with leadership and client-facing colleagues, this role plays a critical coordination function that ensures organized, coherent, and impactful external engagements. Central to success for this role is the organization and planning of virtual amp; face-to-face convenings, drawing on colleagues and partners to organize participation, content and logistics that drive engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Network Engagement
  • Coordinate among internal colleagues to advance shared goals
  • Support the Executive team (CEO, Chief Philanthropy Officer, executives amp; senior leaders) in making strategic choices for network and partner engagement opportunities by stewarding the shared understanding of our landscape, priorities, needs and opportunities in the day-to-day
  • Support the CEO, CPO, Vice President of External Relations and other executives in developing a partnerships strategy that defines the landscape, priorities, needs, and opportunities, and supports the executives by leading its delivery by building and managing ongoing relationships with key strategic partners
  • Collaborate with the CAF International Team and other members of CAF’s International Network
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure opportunities to platform our insights and experts
Events Project Management amp; Coordination
  • Lead in the proactive planning and execution of virtual and face-to-face hosted events and network engagements, including leading the development of event programming
  • Represent CAF America in planning events co-hosted with external partners
  • As needed, attend face-to-face events, as both an organizer and attendee
  • Collaborate with client managers and business development team members to implement the organization’s conference sponsorship and attendance plan, and evolve our approach to face-to-face events including oversight of the budget and logistics coordination.
  • Define amp; curate list of approved staff spokespeople, with support from Marcoms team.
  • Proactively curate the organization’s Network Map and External Events Calendar
Qualifications:
  • Experience in similar organizations and roles across the social purpose sector (including but not limited to philanthropy, international development, social investment/impact investment, or charities/nonprofits)
  • Record of working within global networks to build collaborative partnerships helpful
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating successful events, both in-person and online
  • Experience effectively partnering with and maximizing engagement of executive leaders for external engagement
  • Ability to work independently within a strategic framework
  • A proactive planner ready to help orchestrate and collaborate to bring voices together

This position is U.S.-based, DC-area preferred. All duties must be carried out from within the United States.

Salary Range - $73,000 - $78,000
