Job Summary:
The Network Administrator is responsible for providing network support to maintain efficient, secure, and reliable operational computer networks. This role involves assembling, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems, hardware, and software to support business operations and ensure end-user satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
  • Assemble and configure network components and services, including backup, security management, user account management, email systems, internet access, and office applications.
  • Set up and maintain basic network operations such as file servers, mail servers, Ethernet networks, and cabling systems.
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and resolve common network issues.
  • Install, upgrade, and configure network hardware, software, and services including printing, directories, rights, and file services.
  • Implement and manage network security systems such as firewalls, file permissions, disaster recovery plans, and system integrity checks.
  • Provide technical support to users and respond to requests for access or troubleshooting of network resources.
  • Establish and maintain user accounts, directories, and security settings.
  • Conduct training and instruction for users on operating systems, relational databases, and applications.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of information accessed, processed, or stored on company systems.

Education:

  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
