Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $96,600.00/Yr. - USD $160,850.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
  • Providing a full range of engineering, technical support, and management services in support of a Navy C4I Messaging program

  • Six (6) to eight (8) years of technical experience in five or more of the following:
    • Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) protocols (i.e., TCP, UDP, OSPF, BGP, LISP, GRE Tunnels etc.)
    • Virtualized layer 2 and layer 3 network configuration and operations (Virtual Distributed Switches, VLAN’s, Static/Dynamic Routing, Access Control Lists)
    • Knowledge with Type 1 Network Encryption Devices to include IPSec
    • Network security, test and evaluation tools (i.e., WireShark, LANScope, etc)
    • Juniper and Fortigate network firewall (Network Intrusion Detection)
    • Virtualized Environments (VMware products)
  • Certification in Security+
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) IAT certification

  • Direct experience with providing technical support to tactical messaging programs, inclusive of systems and equipment, such as Command and Control Official Information Exchange (C2OIX), Navy Modernized Hybrid Solution (NMHS), Naval Modular Automated Communication System (NAVMACS),Nova, and Nova Information Exchange Terminal (NIXT)
