Internship Overview


As a Support Services Intern at ATB Technologies, youโ€™ll be a key contributor to our frontline support team, helping resolve technical issues and ensuring a smooth experience for our clients. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain exposure to real-world IT environments, and collaborate with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, client-focused setting. Interns will work closely with our Support Specialists to deliver timely and effective solutions, while also learning how we plan, implement, and improve technical processes. Youโ€™ll be immersed in a collaborative culture that values curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning.


This internship opportunity will be offered during the Fall Semester of 2026 and is open to eligible college students who meet the program requirements. Interns are expected to work at least 20 hours per week on-site at our Chesterfield office, with flexible scheduling to accommodate class commitments. This is a 12-week internship program with an anticipated start date of 8/31/2026 and an end date of 11/20/2026.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for client systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to incoming support requests with professionalism and clear communication.
  • Document issues and resolutions thoroughly in our ticketing system.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems, including desktops, servers, firewalls, and networking equipment.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing solutions to customer issues.
  • Participate in follow-ups and escalate issues internally when needed.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Network Administration, Cybersecurity).
  • Preferred graduation date: December 2026, May 2027 or December 2027.
  • Enthusiastic about technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with networking and cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Actively pursuing or holding relevant IT certifications is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
