Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) is a proud North American leader in transportation equipment and solutions. We're full-service and fully loaded with an industry-leading diverse fleet of over 80,000 trailers and a support network of 240 service bays, 118 mobile service trucks, and 430+ skilled mechanics.

The Account Manager - Mississauga Region plays a pivotal role in growing and diversifying TEN Canada's customer base. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with existing clients while exploring new industries and markets to secure sustainable business opportunities.

Through persuasive sales outreach, inperson client visits, strategic territory planning, and effective quoting, you will help expand TEN's presence across the Edmonton region. The goal is to exceed customer expectations, enhance brand visibility, and leverage TEN's comprehensive product and service portfolio to drive profitable revenue growth.


Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead growth across the Ontario region by developing new lease opportunities, converting rental customers to longterm agreements, and achieving assigned sales targets.
  • Build and expand strong customer relationships through strategic territory planning, persuasive sales outreach, and effective consultative selling.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate complex multiyear contracts, and ensure accurate CRM documentation while collaborating with internal teams to drive account success.
  • Identify revenue opportunities by analyzing rental portfolios, optimizing account profitability, and strengthening customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Represent TEN's culture and values by maintaining exceptional professionalism, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and contributing to a safe, collaborative, and highperformance environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an outside sales role
  • Transportation industry experience is an asset
  • Highly organized with strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office & Salesforce)
  • Proven success in a competitive, highperformance sales environment
  • Experience with consultative sales approaches and best practices
  • Comfortable selling to all levels of leadership
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to develop engaging content
  • Strong verbal, written, and virtual communication skills
  • Highly competitive base salary, based on experience, complemented by a performance-driven commission plan.
