The University of Utah Campus Store is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Applications Intern to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our NetSuite ERP system and other business applications. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise systems, business process analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic retail and academic environment.
As an intern, you will work closely with the Business Systems Analyst to assist in the daily administration of NetSuite, support system enhancements, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Through this experience, you will develop practical skills in business analysis, systems documentation, and project coordination, while gaining a deeper understanding of how technology supports retail operations, inventory management, ecommerce, point of sale, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Help maintain data integrity by supporting data cleanup and migration efforts.
Document business processes, workflows, and system configurations.
Assist in user training sessions and the creation of training materials and user guides.
Collaborate with departments such as inventory, ecommerce, accounting, and customer service to gather requirements and support system-related needs.
Help prepare reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of NetSuite features and modules.
Support troubleshooting efforts and help resolve user-reported issues.
Monitor system performance and report anomalies or inefficiencies.
Conduct research on NetSuite best practices and recommend improvements.
Support integration efforts between NetSuite and other business platforms (e.g., Suite Commerce Advance, NSPOS, Tradecentric, etc. 
Participate in project meetings, take notes, and track action items.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current University of Utah student.
Preferences
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Interest in enterprise software, data analysis, or business process improvement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Preference will be given to students with related technical coursework and/or professional experience.
