About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NetSuite Developer to join our growing ERP/IT team at Matterport. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in SuiteScript (2.x/2.1), SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), and strong project management capabilities, with a deep understanding of core NetSuite modules and standard platform functionalities.

As a Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom NetSuite solutions, while also contributing to strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration. Your role will be critical in optimizing our ERP system to support ongoing business needs and process improvements.

This position is located in Sunnyvale, CA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in the office and the option to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript 2.x/2.1, SDF, RESTlets, and integrations with external systems.
  • Lead ERP projects from requirements gathering to deployment, including scope definition, technical planning, and post-deployment support.
  • Build and maintain NetSuite customizations, including workflows, scripts, custom records, and user roles/permissions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on NetSuite standard functions (e.g., Financials, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, CRM, Inventory, etc.).
  • Utilize SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) to manage and deploy code in a structured and scalable way.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time, with a firm understanding of how to prioritize work based on business needs
  • Develop and manage API integrations between NetSuite and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of how databases are structured and integrated, with the ability to design scalable and efficient data flows between systems.
  • Maintain documentation for customizations, configurations, and technical processes.
  • Assist in managing NetSuite integration with other platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Shopify, Celigo, Boomi, etc.).
  • Participate in system upgrades, sandbox refreshes, and overall NetSuite environment management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not for profit, in-person university or college
  • Track record of commitment to prior employers
  • 5+ years of NetSuite development experience, with a focus on SuiteScript (2.x/2.1).
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
  • Solid understanding of NetSuite's standard modules and business processes.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP-related projects, from concept to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, APIs, and integration capabilities (REST/SOAP).
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing API integrations and data synchronization across multiple systems.
  • Understanding of relational databases, data mapping, and best practices for data integration and transformation.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite best practices for configuration, performance, and scalability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer II).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Suite of products, including but not limited to Oracle Fusion
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) in the context of NetSuite development.
  • Background in Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environments.
  • Knowledge of integration tools like Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar iPaaS platforms.

This position offers an annual salary range from $124,000 - $187,000 determined by relevant skills and experience, in addition to a generous benefits plan.
