We are seeking an experienced SF6 Breaker & Switchgear Specialist to join our field operations team supporting utility and substation projects across the state of Florida. This is a hands-on, traveling position ideal for a highly skilled technician who specializes in SF6 gas-insulated breakers and switchgear systems and takes pride in precision, safety, and reliability.

???? What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of SF6 circuit breakers and gas-insulated switchgear

  • Conduct SF6 gas handling, filling, reclaiming, and leak detection

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in high-voltage equipment

  • Execute breaker timing tests, insulation resistance testing, and related commissioning procedures

  • Support substation outages, upgrades, and emergency response projects

  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations

  • Travel throughout Florida to various job sites

  • Travel required throughout the state of Florida

  • Typical work schedule: 45โ€“50 hours per week

  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle for travel
