Job description

The UMB Private Wealth Trust Sales Advisor (PWTSA) is responsible for building and managing client relationships with Private Wealth's ultra-high net worth Trust market segment. The PWTSA will grow and service an existing book of clients including many of PWM's high-profile and more complex client relationships, in particular those requiring complex trust administration.
This role will identify opportunities in the ultra-high net worth market segment to develop centers-of-influence (both internal and external) as resources and develop networks with other lines of business to provide financial solutions for clients. The PWTSA will ensure the delivery of the unparalleled customer experience (TUCE) to our most highly-complex and high-value client's Trust and Investment Management accounts.
How you'll spend your time:
  • You will source and develop high-net-worth client relationships through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.

  • You will steer administration of Client's wealth and trust accounts by being trusted partner.

  • You will lead high performance service delivery to clients by coordinating team delivering services.

  • You will manage and expand high-profile client relationships.

  • You will provide proactive solution-oriented planning for clients and coordination of wealth strategy planning goals and objectives.

  • You will lead a proactive, high-touch communication plan for all clients.

  • You will provide wealth management subject matter expertise.

  • You will participate in and attend meetings and functions as assigned.

  • You will create and lead presentations to external and internal COIs on estate planning techniques for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

  • You will serve as the primary driver of new trust relationships for the market.

  • You will coordinate and assign the team members of new trust relationships transitioning those accounts to those team members.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree.

  • You have 10+ years' experience in wealth management for HNW and UHNW clients, or combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

  • You have experience in Complex Trust Administration.

  • You understand Business Development & COI Development.

  • You possess Leadership Skills.

  • You have a high level of emotional intelligence.

  • You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • You are an expert on wealth management issues pertinent to UHNW families.

  • You have good relationship management skills.

  • You have the ability to address client concerns and needs.

  • You demonstrate understanding of investment strategies utilized by UHNW clients.

  • You demonstrate understanding of tax challenges of UHNW clients.

  • You show familiarity with wealth management products and estate planning solutions, including trusts and administration, member and manager managed LLCs and Limited Partnerships, and asset management.

  • You demonstrate extensive knowledge of Trust and Bank products and services (i.e., investments, insurance, brokerage, private banking, retirement planning).

  • You have the ability to identify and find solutions for unique assets of UHNW client including, commercial properties, LLCs, oil and gas, alternative energy, ranch and farm properties.

  • You have one or more of the following credentials: MBA, CFA, CFP®, CPA, CTFA, or JD.

  • You have supervisory or team leadership experience.

  • You have 5+ years in demonstrated sales position.

  • You are active in community and professional organizations; considered a leader in the community.

  • You have experience drafting complex estate plans for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Compensation Range:
$110,250.00 - $235,810.00
