Job description

Job Title : Application Developer

Job Level : Exempt 04-06

Relocation : No

Work Location(s) : GPC Headquarters, Atlanta, GA or APC Headquarters, Birmingham, AL (HYBRID: 2-3 days Onsite)

JOB SUMMARY

This role is primarily responsible for developing and supporting business-critical applications, ensuring that we continually meet and exceed both operational and strategic goals. The successful candidate will be expected to bring innovation and a collaborative spirit, working closely with business partners to deliver outstanding results that are aligned with business needs.

A key responsibility of this position is to lead project, development, and support activities within the Contract Activity Management Program. This includes overseeing release management and establishing comprehensive application lifecycle plans for all application development and support functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, business, or another related field, is required.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of how application frameworks and other technologies can meet and exceed business requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business functions and operations within Power Delivery desired.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting financial applications desired
  • Development experience with recent Angular version desired
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solve business needs.
  • Proven history of achieving measurable business results while working through others.
  • Proven analytic, critical thinking, and project management skills.
