The ideal candidate will have experience working with clinical systems, healthcare platforms, or Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and a deep understanding of integrating with existing systems in regulated environments.
This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing mission-critical applications that support operational efficiency and data-driven workflows across healthcare or laboratory environments.
This role requires strong backend engineering expertise, advanced SQL Server knowledge, and the ability to work across modern and legacy frontend frameworks.
The primary focus of this position is maintaining and modernizing applications built on .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core, while supporting frontend applications developed in React and existing applications built using Angular. This role may also support cross-functional initiatives such as analytics platform transitions, application support, and interface development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance enterprise applications built on ASP.NET Core (.NET 8).
  • Support and maintain existing frontend applications developed in Angular, while contributing to new development in React.
  • Design, develop, and optimize backend APIs and services.

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for enterprise applications as needed.
  • Contribute to interface development and integration efforts.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.
  • Document architecture, workflows, and technical solutions.
  • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and modernization opportunities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

Required Technical Skills
  • Strong experience with .NET 6/7/8 and ASP.NET Core
  • Proficiency in C# and RESTful API development
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
    • T-SQL

    • Query optimization
    • Indexing strategies
    • Performance tuning
    • Database schema design
  • Frontend experience with React
  • Working knowledge of Angular (supporting and maintaining existing applications)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD build and deployment pipelines
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Preferred / Plus Skills
  • Prior Clinical Lab experience
  • Experience working on Tableau to Power BI conversion projects
  • Agentic AI
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Experience working with a Content Management System (Sitecore preferred)

Professional Attributes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation capabilities
  • Self-driven and adaptable in evolving technical environments

Education & Experience
