Job description

Client: State of Minnesota
Role: .Net Developer
Dept: MNIT/BCA
Responsibilities:
  • Rewrite legacy data integration programs into Dynamics 365 compatible code (e.g., C# plugins, etc.)
  • Reverse engineer screens from 4GL legacy application into Dynamics 365 UI workflows/screens
  • Build out new automations and enhancements as defined by the business area into the Dynamics 365 environment
  • Assist with UAT testing and data validation
  • Create operational and production support documentation
  • Respectfully and effectively collaborate with other project team members
  • Provide knowledge transfer

Minimum Qualifications
  • Five (5) years' experience in Developer/Programmer role
  • Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role
  • Three (3) years' experience as a developer using C# on ASP.NET
  • Three (3) years' experience as a developer using Microsoft T-SQL

Desired Skills
  • Development experience with Ingres technologies
  • Development experience as a programmer or relevant role with Dynamics 365
  • Ability to program in languages such as SQL, C, C# and Java Script
  • Experience with Workflow frameworks
  • Experience developing micro-services
  • Ability to transform code into C#/ASP.NET and T-SQL from other languages such as:
    • Ingres ABF
    • Ingres RW
    • Ingres SC
    • an older dialect of Visual Basic
    • DOS .BAT
    • Perl
    • Cold Fusion
  • Demonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code
  • Experience with tools such as version control, build management, requirements management, and bug and issue tracking
  • An analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and in agile/iterative teams
