Operations Manager
Salary - $90,000-$100,000 total compensation (base + bonus)

The Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting and coaching all team members to build a strong strong performance-based office. This role will support company goals and strategies for the Paul Davis Partnership Group. We are searching only for candidates seeking career growth, and as our office scales so will this role.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Recruit and coach team members, promote teambuilding and engagement
  • Schedule and run effective meetings and weekly GS&Rs with direct report
  • Confidently discuss financial/operational details on a regular basis with finance personnel and department leads
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve production goals
  • High level of responsibility for company budget maintenance
  • Sustain cash flow, and maintain A/R to ensure gross margin
  • Review and discuss sales objectives and have input on new sales initiatives
  • Review job reports, WIP, and customer relations with AGM for backlog/contracts signed but jobs not started/flow of WIP/quality control/customer complaints
  • Attend company business development events
  • Review staffing and operational changes needed by departments for growth
  • Participate and lead in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process of A player
  • Responsible for coaching and developing A players with leadership development skills and position development skills
  • Responsible for maintaining participation on insurance carrier programs
Competency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge operating systems; RMS, Xactimate, and Symbility
  • Restoration industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to read and write mitigation and reconstruction estimates
  • Knowledge of Reconstruction and Mitigation Project Management
  • Knowledge of business development
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Coaching skills
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Situational Leadership skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, and manage financial statements
  • Ability to manage, lead, and coach a staff within an operation

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business Management or related field
  • 3+ years experience in a Management role
  • 3+ years experience in a Project Management and/or Estimator role
  • Experience with reading and interpreting financial statements
Preferred Education and Experience
  • 5+ years experience in restoration or construction field
  • Sales experience
  • Leadership Development Trainings
  • IICRC certifications
Travel
This position will require up to 25% local travel to jobs sites, trainings, and company events (as needed).
