Job Summary

At SuperATV, we are committed to WOWing our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world-class customer service. We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Prototype CNC Machinist to support the continued growth and impact of SuperATV in the off-roading industry. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and machining prototype parts while partnering closely with Engineering and Quality to ensure precision, functionality, and timely completion of prototype projects.

Primary Duties
  • Program, set up, and machine prototype machined parts according to project requirements, engineering drawings, and production timelines.
  • Measure machined parts accurately and hold required tolerances to ensure quality and fit-to-function standards are met.
  • Create drawings and programs using Mastercam and other nesting or programming software as needed.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to support prototype machining needs.
  • Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
  • Use precision measuring devices to verify part dimensions and identify any quality concerns.
  • Communicate machining challenges, quality concerns, and recommended solutions with Engineering, Quality, and other internal teams.
  • Support prototype development by providing feedback on manufacturability, process improvements, and equipment capabilities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist required.
  • CNC programming, set-up, and machining experience required.
  • Experience with Mastercam or similar programming software required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
  • Knowledge of CNC equipment, machining processes, and measuring devices required.
  • Strong understanding of fit-to-function requirements and part tolerance standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality history required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and other departments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the off-roading market is a plus.
