S+S is family owned and has been in business for over 40 years. We are a leading provider of electroplated coatings in the oilfield, power generation, consumer goods, and automotive industries.
We are currently seeking for a Programmer/Nester that wants to grow with S+S and be a part of our team!
This position is located in Houston, TX 77011 (East Downtown).
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in CNC programming/nesting.
  • Proficiency with Solid Works/AutoCAD literacy.
  • ERP traveler familiarity: strong Excel ( lookups, QC calculators, basic SPC templates).
  • Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Bilingual (Spanish , English) is a plus
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
  • Create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs and nest for copper/aluminum busbar and related components to achieve safe, repeatable , and cost-effective production.
  • Generate, simulate, and release programs for EHRT/Flex Punch, Amada.
  • Measurement methods: calipers, micrometers, pin/plug gauges, height gage/surface plate, angle gauges/protractors; simple attribute gauges
  • Build nests
  • Specify punches/dies/strippers and brake tooling per standards.
Shift: Days - Monday-Saturday 5:00am-5:00pm: overtime as needed

Compensation: Depending on experience
Night shift premium - $2 additional per hour (5pm-5am)
