Job description

Neighborhood Assistant

Summary: This position acts as a universal attendant and life-enrichment aid, doing a number of duties to provide comprehensive care for our tenants, designed to maintain their physical and emotional well-being.

Attending activities include serving and cleaning up after meals, helping residents to and from rooms, helping to clean rooms, making beds, etc.

Life-enrichment activities include interacting with residents in large and small group settings, including exercise, devotionals, table activities (crafts, cards, etc.), art, pet and music therapy.

What makes this position different than most? Bethesda is a non-profit social ministry that carries out its mission daily: "Serving others together in faith, community and life." This position will get to work in the brand-new location and building in New London, MN.

Scheduled hours: Part-time shifts available, including every other weekend and every other holiday rotation. Evening shifts, 4:30pm-8:00pm.

Requirements: Previous experience is preferred but not required. Bethesda has a great team to teach you the skills for this position. No diploma, degree, or certificate required.
