    Roles & Responsibilities

    As a I&C Electrician, you will:

    • Troubleshoot emergency and non-emergency electrical control problems
    • Troubleshoot sensors, controls panel components, radio and telemetry, and PLCs.
    • Build and upgrade control panels in the shop and in the field.

    Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

    • More than 2 years troubleshooting controls
    • ISA or/and EPRI certifications
    • Supports UIS' core values
    • Member of the IBEW or willing to join
    • NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship
    • Strong aptitude for technical challenges and troubleshooting. Has a hands-on approach when necessary.
    • Aptitude for building relationships
    • Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, positive attitude.
    • Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
    • Strong work ethic, embraces new challenges, will do the necessary research to find the right solution.
