Job description

Ali Medical Transport is one of the regional leaders in non-emergency medical transportation. We transport clients daily to dialysis, medical appointments, and group homes.
We seek qualified and skilled nonemergency medical transportation drivers that'll be tasked with transporting our clients. In this role you'll work intimately with our clients, facilities, and dispatch to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of our most vital asset - our clients.
Responsibilities of the role include:
  • Safely loading, transporting, and unloading immobile and wheelchair bound clients by stretcher or wheelchair accessible minivans
  • Assisting clients into stretchers and wheelchairs and properly securing in vehicle
  • Maintaining constant communication with dispatch
  • Ensuring the transport vehicles are properly mechanically maintained and clean
  • Logging all transports on applicable devices and sheets
  • Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Be able to lift 100+ pounds transferring patients to stretcher, vehicle, and appointment
  • Clean driving record - No more than 2 traffic infractions in the past 3 years
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screenings
  • Intimate knowledge of the Richmond metro area (zip codes, streets, regions)
  • Strong digital, phone, and written communication skills
  • Organized, neat, technological aptitude
  • Effective at managing competing, high-level priorities - must be able to manage periods of stressful workload
Hours:
  • 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend work available
  • Overtime available
