Job Description:
QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE III / NDT II
Trained and Qualified in Nondestructive Testing Level II (Visual, Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection) with 3+ years' direct experience in U.S. Navy shipboard/Submarine NDT Inspections.
Develops QA Workbooks with Test and Inspection Plans. Computer skills in Work and Excel required.
Performs a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
Records and analyzes data and writes summaries and reports to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
Works closely with management to ensure adherence to ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items.
Recommends modifications to existing, or suggests new, standards, methods, and procedures.
Maintains appropriate documentation related to quality assurance tests and inspections.
Provides quality training.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
Guides and directs employees in quality improvement efforts.
Participates in special projects as required.
Electrical Cableway and Connector knowledge a plus.
May require professional, technical, or company certification(s), depending on job assignment.
Some travel may be required depending on task.
Knowledge in welding and Welder Qualification is a plus.
25% or more travel may be required
Requires HS diploma/GED; 3+ years of direct experience
Requires Non Destructive Testing Level II certification for Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, and Magnetic Particle Testing

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $32.30 - $43.70. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
