Job description

About the Role: Vitality Physical Medicine is seeking a qualified and motivated NCS Technologist to join our team. Youโ€™ll work alongside our physician to perform high-quality nerve conduction studies for patients with neuromuscular conditions. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy diagnostic work and direct patient care in a supportive clinical setting. Also will consider a neurodiagnostic technologist interested in training in Nerve Conduction Studies!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) under physician supervision
  • Assist with preparation for Electromyography (EMG) procedures
  • Escort and prepare patients for testing; explain procedures clearly and compassionately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed
  • Enter patient data and test results into EMR systems (training provided)

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in neurodiagnostic testing or a related healthcare field
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Certification (R.NCS.T or CNCT) is a plus but not required
  • associates in neurodiagnostic technology required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods
  • Frequent use of hands for electrode placement and data entry
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with patient positioning
