Work Control Coordinator (WCC)

Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40-hour work week

Position Summary

The Work Control Coordinator (WCC) is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the NCMMS (Network Computerized Maintenance Management System) to support facility operations and maintenance activities. This position provides scheduled shift coverage for the General Services Administration (GSA), ensuring seamless work order management, asset tracking, maintenance scheduling, and customer service support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work staggered shifts to provide continuous coverage during normal business operating hours.
  • Configure, operate, maintain, and support the NCMMS.
  • Update and maintain asset tags and equipment inventory records to ensure complete and accurate documentation.
  • Perform system updates, maintain database integrity, and monitor daily maintenance activities within the NCMMS.
  • Document daily work accomplishments and generate reports as required.
  • Provide administrative quality control by reviewing work orders, maintenance records, and system data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track operational metrics and maintain data to support performance reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Schedule facility operations and preventive maintenance services to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring efficient use of personnel and resources.
  • Manage the customer service desk by receiving, prioritizing, and dispatching service requests.
  • Respond professionally to service calls and inquiries from building tenants and customers.
  • Coordinate the availability of supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to support maintenance operations.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, facility management, and GSA representatives to ensure high-quality customer service.

  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably NCMMS.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and produce detailed reports.
  • Experience supporting facilities operations or maintenance management is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
