What you will do:
This role is cross-trained between Dual and Usher at the theater.
The role of Dual at NCG Cinema is to operate guest concessions, handle the selling and restocking of inventory, and sell NCG products (tickets and concessions). This important team member is the first face a guest sees upon arrival, must be knowledgeable of current movies, and is usually the go-to person for resolution if a guest has a problem they need solved.
The role of Usher at NCG Cinema is to prepare and maintain the NCG standard of cleanliness in all facility locations (lobby, auditoriums, restrooms, hallways). To provide the customer an uninterrupted, friendly, smooth, safe, and clean movie-going experience. And to demonstrate excellent customer service from ticket taking and problem resolution to ensuring a seamless presentation of a movie.
Position requirements:
  • Physically clean the facility including sanitizing and cleaning restrooms, auditoriums, hallways, and lobby, take out trash, and restock inventory
  • Lift up to 40 pounds and maintain balance while carrying heavy and odd-shaped objects
  • Maintain the NCG Standard for a presentation of a movie (A.L.I.S.T. Audience, Lights, Image, Sound, Temperature)
  • Interact with the general public including a friendly greeting, taking tickets, directing guests to auditoriums and seats, warmly exit greeting guests, and answering or assisting in finding answers to any arising issues
  • Work in a team environment and assist fellow workers in concessions (refills), odd jobs, and cleaning
  • Communicate concerns or issues to management promptly and clearly
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Selling NCG products with comfort and friendliness
  • Responsible for concessions including making popcorn with consistency, maintaining cleanliness, operating cash drawer and POS system and restocking inventory
  • Must be comfortable having assertive conversations with guests who violate NCG policies (outside food coming in, COVID-19 protocols) and have thorough knowledge of NCG policies
