Essential Functions and Job Summary
As a member of our collaborative, driven, adaptable, and fast-paced Recruitment team, you will have the responsibility of being an ambassador for our brand, and an advocate for talent. We are looking for a team-oriented, dynamic, hardworking, and creative Recruiter who will take these responsibilities to heart. You are capable of leading full-cycle recruitment for hard-to-fill roles and can flex to recruit across all job functions, technical and non-technical. You are a self-sufficient professional with a consistent track record of delivering value for Hiring Managers in a fast-paced environment, and successfully managing your candidates' experience and expectations. You also proactively seek ways to make the process as seamless as possible for your client groups and engage with your clients regularly to provide updates and news. You're willing to extend yourself to support your colleagues, and ready to present and test new ideas. You learn from the wins as much as the losses, and no matter what, you show up to play tomorrow. You are focused on running a streamlined, inclusive, and rigorous recruitment process, and you proactively seek ways to improve our talent pipeline and sourcing process. This role will directly impact the changing landscape of the NBA, and while you will find yourself challenged, it will all be worthwhile because what we're building at the NBA is special.
You will be expected to work from our New York office (645 5th Ave.) 4 days/week with the option to work remotely 1 day/week.
Major Responsibilities
  • Own full lifecycle recruitment across various lines of business, including content, partnerships, content & media production, NBA and affiliate league operations, corporate functions, technology and more
  • Create strong working relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to develop targeted yet scalable recruitment strategies that attract and engage high potential talent
  • Cultivate and engage high-quality talent pipelines through strong candidate relationships, and conduct comprehensive evaluations leading to top-tier candidate referrals
  • Drive the NBA's recruitment process by actively managing and engaging talent pipelines across Talent Acquisition's tech stack, while maintaining accurate, high-quality recruitment data.
  • Leverage both internal recruitment data and external market intelligence to inform and influence recruitment and hiring decisions
  • Ensure an efficient, rigorous, inclusive, and compliant recruitment and hiring process while prioritizing talent diversity, candidate experience, and lawful recruiting practices
  • Develop and maintain strong cross functional relationships with various teams across the organization, including Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, HR Consulting and Legal
  • Bring a breadth of experience and expertise from a career as a Corporate Recruiter to contribute best practices, as well as new and innovative ideas, as a member of our high functioning Talent Acquisition team

Required Education/Professional Experience
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle corporate recruitment experience for a global brand
  • Experience leading searches at all levels and across a variety of functional areas, including content and media, corporate functions, business operations, and technology
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes
  • Highly effective communication skills, along with a demonstrated ability to confidently and thoughtfully manage client relationships
  • Highly proficient utilizing applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and various other creative search tools and tactics to find talent
  • Deep understanding of recruiting and interview best practices, as well as the expertise to educate and train business partners on effective interview models
  • Ability to interface with and influence hiring managers at all levels
  • Experience utilizing internal and external data sources to develop recruitment strategies, make informed business decisions, and provide strategic updates to business leaders

Salary Range:
$4,300 - $4,800 bi-weekly
