As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Navvis Health Care Center, you will engage in a supportive and dynamic remote work setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture a positive, trusting relationship with clients, ensuring a safe space for open discussions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders accurately and create individualized treatment plans tailored to the distinct needs of each client.
  • Hold regular therapy sessions with individuals and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques that include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to adapt to clients' evolving needs and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to specialists when needed, ensuring comprehensive holistic care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services at Navvis Health Care Center is on adults, couples, and families who are facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with proficiency in motivating clients towards achieving their personal goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong connections, and teamwork within our healthcare environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized training or certification in addiction counseling, with knowledge of evidence-based practices for addressing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting with a diverse client population, applying a range of therapeutic modalities to meet varying client needs.
