Job description

You will serve as a ONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ???????CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the gs-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Managing multiple priorities and providing technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems encountered during the administration of the construction contracts; 2) Coordinating post-award contract meetings such as post-award kickoff meetings, preconstruction conferences, (informal or formal) partnering meetings, schedule acceptance meeting, design review meetings, coordination and mutual understanding meeting, Facility Turnover Planning Meetings (NAVFAC Red Zone), and final inspections; 3) Managing the contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensuring timely responses; 4) Reviewing and interpreting construction contract drawing and specification requirements to ensure compliance with NAVFAC policies, regulations and codes; and 5) Preparing property record inventory documents, DD1354 Transfer and Acceptance of Military Real Property and Disposal of DoN Real Property, in accordance with NAVFAC Business Management System (BMS) and in coordination with IPT Project Managers and Installation Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO).
