Job Description: Works with production personnel to fill Kanban bins. Loads and unloads trucks with a forklift and/or by hand. Supplies parts to upholstery line on demand.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Receives parts when they are delivered & puts them in the correct location.

Unloads and loads trucks using various devices.

Stocks foam parts and substrates and puts them in the appropriate location. 

Documents items that are low in stock

Pulls parts as needed.

Efficiently organizes upholstery racks.

Complies with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Removes packing slips & forwards them to purchasing Dept.

Performs any other duties as assigned by management.

Must be able to perform tasks under time pressure deadlines.

Must have strong attention to detail.

Demonstrates the ability to communicate information and ideas so others can understand.

Must be able to count to help with inventory control.


Physical and Work Requirements:


Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.

Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.

Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as needed.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.

Must be able to see details at close range.

Must be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc.)

This is a safety-sensitive position.
