Job description

Lucky Spot Barbershop is growing and expanding! Our Greensboro location is looking for a new Hairstylist and/or Natural Hairstylist to join our team!!
You must have a current license to style natural hair and have completed a natural hair and/or cosmetology training program. While we are a barbershop and focus on men's hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.
Stylist Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments.
โ€ข Prep clients for their service and ask what type of styling they want.
โ€ข Style clients' hair to their specifications.
โ€ข Engage in friendly conversation with clients.
โ€ข Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition.
โ€ข Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients.
โ€ข Stylist Requirements and Qualifications:
โ€ข High school diploma or GED certificate
โ€ข Natural Hairstylist, Cosmetologist or Barber license with "behind the chair" experience.
โ€ข Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Organizational and time-management abilities
โ€ข Attention to detail.
