Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Natural Hair Stylist to join our small team salon full time. The ideal candidate will skillfully provide hair styling, treatments, and personalized consultations to an average of 5-10 clients daily, using brand-specific professional products. This role emphasizes customer service excellence, sanitation compliance, and inventory management, with opportunities for regular training and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform natural hair styling and treatments tailored to client needs
  • Conduct client consultations to recommend appropriate services and products
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
  • Manage inventory and recommend product purchases
  • Schedule appointments and maintain punctuality
  • Upsell services to enhance client experience and boost retention
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain a loyal clientele
  • Contribute as a dependable and communicative team member in a small salon environment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cosmetology License or equivalent certification
  • Expertise in natural hair techniques and hair care products
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in hair styling
