We seek an advanced-level science instructor to teach two sections of chemistry for the 2026-2027 academic year. The aim of the science program is for students to develop confidence, aptitude, and appreciation for the beauty of the world of science

Scientific studies will play a pivotal role in Nativity's STEM focused curriculum. Ultimately, your skills, teaching technique and resolve will reflect Nativity's mission and our classroom culture. Responsibilities This role shall include the following duties: 1.

Teach two sections of 20-22 students, 50 minutes of class instruction per day, four days per week (~37 teaching weeks per academic year). 2. Develop lesson plans for regular review.

3. Attend faculty meetings and in-service days when needed. 4.

Provide office hours and tutoring for students as needed. 5. Participate in supporting the student experience at Nativity.

It welcomed its first class of students in August 2024. Class sizes are generally 20-22 maximum per classroom and affordable tuition makes the school accessible to a wide range of income levels.

Nativity's board of directors comprises five optimistic and grateful people who embody a "working board" mentality in support of the school and its students. Nativity is also fortunate to have an accomplished Advisory board. Nativity is an independent Catholic school formally recognized and supported by the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
