Job description

As a Director Portfolio Management - Utilities here at Honeywell Technologies, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the portfolio strategy for Honeywell's Utilities business. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth by aligning Honeywell Technologies' offerings with utility market needs across electric, gas, and water segments, while enabling customer outcomes through advanced metering, grid modernization, software, services, cybersecurity, and behind-the-meter solutions.

In this role, you will develop and execute portfolio strategies that optimize growth, profitability, market share, and customer value. You will work cross-functionally with offering management, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and regional commercial teams to identify market opportunities, prioritize investments, develop roadmaps, support strategic pursuits, and ensure disciplined execution across the Utilities portfolio.

You will also partner closely with senior leaders to support the "One Honeywell" approach by aligning enterprise-level messaging, value propositions, and cross-business solutions for priority utility customers and large, complex utility opportunities.

You will report directly to the Honeywell Technologies General Manager - Utilities and work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

You Must Have

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in portfolio management, offering management, product management, strategy, business management, sales, or program management.
  • Experience in the utilities industry or a related industrial, infrastructure, energy, software, automation, or technology-driven sector.
  • Proven track record of driving portfolio growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and financial performance.
  • Strong business acumen with experience analyzing revenue, margin, profitability, market share, pipeline, and investment trade-offs.
