JOB DESCRIPTION
Preset tooling and fixturing per blueprints and process plans. Handles breakdown, storage and proper care of tooling and fixturing. Provide Tool Crib Attendant assistance and/or backup. Be proactive in reviewing upcoming schedules, have knowledge of urgent operations and the tooling and fixturing associated with each. Other duties as may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read blueprints, tool lists, and set-up drawings
  • Knowledgeable in the use of hand tools and power equipment, precision measuring devices and simple cutting tools
  • Understand basic machining processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to actively participate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work independantly
  • Well-organized
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of Baan or other ERP system for data entry
  • Computer skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Steel toed shoes and safety glasses required.
  • Lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to be PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certified.
  • Work can be strenuous, and includes walking, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling (such as bar stock), and working from elevated platforms, as well as standing for long periods of time.
SCHEDULE
  • Standard 8-hour shifts, 150% paid anytime over 8 hours daily, hours over 45 in a week are paid as double time
  • Shift availability, standard schedules shown below
  • First Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Second Shift 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday + 12.5% Shift Premium
  • Third Shift 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday + 7.5% Shift Premium
