HealthPartners is hiring a Project Implementation Manager. The Project Implementation Manager leads the implementation process for new and renewing health plan customers with complex plan offerings. This role ensures successful project execution by managing cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Sales, and internal teams, delivering exceptional customer experience and operational readiness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Services, Communications , related, or equivalent experience.
    • At least five years of experience in health plan and/or employer benefit plan project management and implementation, including large-scale projects/programs.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,) JIRA, and Confluence
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • In-depth knowledge of health plan benefit administration.
    • Collaborative approach with internal departments and external clients and vendors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • Masters Business Administration (MBA)
  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
    • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Scrum/Agile methodology and practices
    • Business Analysis

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. 35%__Customer Implementation Leadership
  • Serve as the primary leader for administrative systems implementation for new and renewing customers.
  • Partner with HealthPartners Sales teams to ensure seamless onboarding and renewal processes.
  1. 35%__Project Management
  • Act as project manager for strategic and complex implementations, maintaining accountability for timelines and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for each customer implementation.
  • Coordinate implementation work teams to ensure impacted business units are informed and engaged.

  1. 10%__Issue Resolution & Customer Support
  • Resolve critical implementation issues, respond to inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent service and partnership to internal and external customers throughout the process.

  1. 10%__Communication & Status Reporting
  • Partner across the organization to communicate implementation status and ensure action plans are executed.
  • Maintain proactive updates to stakeholders on progress and risks.

  1. 10% __RFP Support
  • Provide proposal support to Sales and Marketing Administration as needed.
