National Fleet Manager Salary Range $110,000 to $115,000

JOB SUMMARY

The National Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the repair and maintenance and regulatory compliance for all delivery vehicles. The position also plays a vital role in delivery vehicle specifications and procurement, forklift specification and management and other vehicle related items. The position will communicate closely with the Director of Fleet Services to ensure consistent flow of critical information.


Essential Functions

Foster safe working environment across all companies to maintain fleet safety standards and compliance with DOT and other regulatory agencies

Improve the overall profitability of the organization through reduction in repair and maintenance expenses.

Review and audit repair quotes and work orders to ensure accurate pricing and billing.

Manage repair and maintenance expenses and identify areas for improvement.

Review work orders to ensure warranty dollars are recovered where applicable

Manage 3rd party railcar maintenance providers

Spec delivery vehicles and forklifts across all companies to ensure best in class specs and safety technology


Required for All Jobs

Education

Associate's degree Not required Preferred

Work Experience

7-9 years

1-3 years Railcar maintenance experience Preferred

1-3 years Specing equipment to include medium and heavy duty trucks, and forklifts Required
