Job description

The Tifton Housing Authority is seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Operations to join our leadership team. The Director of Operations assists the Executive Director with the oversight of agency operations, housing programs, site compliance, capital improvement projects, procurement, contracts, and project management.

The successful candidate will supervise the maintenance and housing departments, audit site and program files, monitor operational and regulatory compliance, and ensure contracts, procurement, and capital projects are completed in accordance with HUD requirements, Agency policies, approved budgets, and contract specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and project management skills, along with knowledge of HUD programs, public housing operations, procurement, and capital improvement projects. Experience working with a Public Housing Agency is highly desirable.

This position plays a critical role in supporting the Agency's commitment to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, and achieving the highest possible HUD performance ratings.

Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
