Job description

The Arena Club, located in Bel Air Maryland, is currently seeking highly motivated Personal Trainers and/or Sports Performance coaches to join our team of professionals. Personal Trainers and/or Sports Performance Coaches are expected to take a proactive role in client and member engagement to provide exemplary service.

Interested applicants must be comfortable working with a wide range of populations and demonstrate proficiency in designing safe and appropriate exercise prescription for these populations.

Additionally, candidates must be a team player and demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational skills, communication and positive attitude.

Competitive candidates have a diverse knowledge of the fitness industry with a minimum of 6 months experience. Completion of, or enrollment in, Bachelor's Degree program in Exercise Science or related field is preferred but not required. Current CPR with AED is required in addition to a nationally accredited personal training or sports performance certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, NSPA, ACE, etc.).

Facility and Benefits: The Arena Club is a total Health and Wellness center that offers member services such as Personal Training, Weight Loss Programming, Small Group Training, Strength and Conditioning, Sport Specific Training, Group Exercise, Medical/Physician's Referred Exercise Programming, Aquatics and other Wellness services. The Arena Club offers the highest commissions in the area for personal trainers and sports performance coaches. Additionally, full time employees can receive the following benefits: paid time off, 401K investment programs and medical, dental and/or vision insurance.

Required Experience/Credentials:

Minimum six (6) months experience

Active CPR with AED prior to start
