Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician

Lexus of Nashville is excited to grow our team by adding a dedicated Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician who is passionate about delivering fast, expert service and exceptional customer care.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively collaborate with the service team to ensure every vehicle receives fast, expert care
  • Perform minor services such as checking and changing lube, oil, and filters, strictly following dealership and manufacturer procedures
  • Identify and report any issues to the Service Advisor or Service Director/Manager promptly
  • Conduct multi-point inspections on every vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty)
  • Find all legitimate repair and service needs and document recommendations clearly in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI)
  • Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for customer approval
  • Assist other technicians with light mechanical tasks as needed
  • Dedicate your time to providing excellent customer service throughout the service process
  • Maintain communication with the Service Manager, Consultants, and fellow technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations
  • Keep the back shop clean and ensure all equipment is calibrated to Lexus standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the service department's success
Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong commitment to safety: consistently wear personal protective equipment, back belts, safety glasses, and shoes
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and driven to deliver quality work with a professional attitude
