Job description

Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist - NASA SEWP Contract
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area
Reports To: SEWP Program Manager
Salary Range: Starting at $70,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist supports our NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) contract by managing, preparing, and submitting timely and accurate bid responses. This role is responsible for reviewing incoming RFQs, coordinating with OEM partners and internal teams, assembling compliant quotes, and delivering highquality customer service. The ideal candidate has experience in federal IT sales, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with SEWP or similar government procurement vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review incoming NASA SEWP RFQs and customer requests for quotes.
•Prepare accurate and compliant SEWP bid responses within required timelines.
•Source pricing, availability, and product configurations from OEMs, distributors, and internal systems.
•Collaborate closely with the SEWP Program Manager, contracts, finance, and sales teams to validate pricing and ensure compliance.
•Ensure all quotes meet SEWP rules, category requirements, and portal guidelines.
•Maintain organized records of quotes, follow-ups, and customer communications.
•Communicate proactively with customers to clarify requirements and provide timely updates.
•Support order processing and ensure a smooth transition from quote creation to fulfillment.
•Assist with SEWP catalog updates, product accuracy, and data maintenance on the portal.
•Use automation tools and internal systems to improve the speed and consistency of bid responses.
•Monitor SEWP RFQ trends to identify upsell, cross-sell, and program growth opportunities.
•Support business development and program leadership through reporting, insights, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree preferred (business, IT, or related field).
•1-3 years of inside sales experience; federal IT or government contracting strongly preferred.
•Familiarity with NASA SEWP or other federal procurement vehicles is highly desirable.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with federal customers and OEM partners.
•Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
•Proficiency with quoting tools, CRM platforms, distributor portals, and pricing systems.
•Ability to interpret product specifications and translate them into compliant solutions.
•Strong organization, follow-up, and documentation skills.
•Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
